DAILY OFFERINGS

Breakfast
Community Breakfast is available in the cafeteria from 7:30am to 8:30am and consists of a variety of bagels, assorted breads, and spreads including butter, cream cheese, jelly, and SunButter. A self-serve yogurt bar is available daily with seasonal fresh-cut fruit and dried fruits, house-made granola, honey, oatmeal, cereals, and more.

Lunch - Lower School Dining

Lower grades enjoy family-style dining. Daily selections include: 1 Soup, 1 Fish, Meat, or Poultry Entrée, 1 Vegetarian or Vegan Entrée, 1 Seasonal* Vegetable of the Day (*based on availability), and 1 Accompaniment - Whole Grain, Rice, Potato, or Pasta. The hot service line provides replenishment of the hot entrée and accompaniments of the day for those students who wish to have more.

Cold options include simple, seasonal, and fresh salad and sandwich components so students can create their own best-loved salad or sandwich. A variety of prepared mini bagels, sandwiches, wraps, and composed salads will also be featured daily. Fresh cut fruit, organic individual yogurts, house-made granola, and a variety of other healthful toppings are also offered daily so children can prepare their own parfait.

Premade cold offerings may include Avocado Tomato Cheddar on Ciabatta, Black Forest Ham and Cheddar on a Croissant, Chipotle Chicken Bacon Wrap, SunButter and Jelly on Whole Wheat, Caesar Salad, Kale and Beet Salad, Lentil Quinoa Salad, and Watermelon and Feta Salad.

Lunch - Middle and Upper School Dining

Diners have access to delicious and nutritious better-for-you options that include daily hot meals, vegetarian hot entrees, a fresh-made soup of the day, 3-4 seasonal composed salads, a create-your-own salad bar, a make-your-own yogurt bar, hot themed rice and grain bowls, a create-your-own sandwich bar, and delicious premade hot-pressed sandwich-type offerings. For those in a hurry, there are always grab-and-go items to keep you going. Fresh, seasonal whole fruit is always available, as well; this includes apples, oranges, bananas, pears, and other seasonal fruits.

The main entrée of the day consists of: 1 Soup, 1 Fish, Meat, or Poultry Entrée, 1 Vegetarian or Vegan Entrée, 1 Seasonal* Vegetable of the Day (*based on availability), and 1 Accompaniment - Whole Grain, Rice, Potato, or Pasta.

Composed Salads and Create-Your-Own Yogurt Parfait: Next to the hot entrée station are 3-4 seasonal cold composed salads. Examples include Mediterranean Orzo Salad, Kale Caesar Salad, and Mandarin Steak Salad. The yogurt bar features: low-fat yogurt, fresh-cut seasonal fruit, house-made granola, and a plethora of other healthful toppings such as dried fruits, honey, chia seeds, and more for a "loaded" yogurt experience.

Create-Your-Own Salad: Our salad bar offers an abundance of exciting options including fresh and roasted seasonal vegetables, 2 salad green mixes, 2-3 proteins, house-made roasted and pickled vegetables, fresh-cooked grains, cheeses, Applegate deli meats, prepared salads (tuna, egg, etc.), and various other add-ins. House-made salad dressings include Balsamic Vinaigrette, Apple Cider Vinaigrette, Caesar, CTY Dressing, and Oil and Vinegar.

Greens & Grains: This self-serve, make-your-own menu offering combines rice or grain with protein add-ins, toppings, sauces, and other components. Those who still want a salad base can get their greens from the salad bar and then make their own regional cuisine creation.

Create-Your-Own Sandwich: In addition to bagels, breads, rolls, and wraps for composing sandwiches, fillings consist of a variety of spreads, cheeses, Applegate or fresh-roasted meats, prepared lunch salads (chicken, tuna, egg, etc.), and other sandwich toppings such as pickles, avocado, sprouts, bacon, and more.

Pressed: A daily rotation of premade paninis, burritos, quesadillas, and flatbreads are also offered. Examples include Caprese Panini, Three-Cheese Grilled Cheese, Buffalo Chicken Quesadilla, and Spinach, Artichoke Flatbread.

Upper School Commons

Light snacks, Grab-and-Go items, and flavored still and sparkling waters available 11AM to 2PM. Themed offerings, such as sliders, tacos, and macaroni and cheese will be available for pre-order for clubs and after-school activities.
